About the Study
The Ammortal Chamber combines PEMF, red and near-infrared light, vibroacoustics, breathwork, and molecular hydrogen inhalation in an immersive experience.
Does the Ammortal Chamber impact mood and cognitive states? Your participation helps us study the effects of a single session in the Ammortal chamber.
The Study “Evaluating the Impact of the Ammortal Chamber on Cognitive and Mood State” will take place at 113 Spring at 113 Spring St, SoHo New York, NY 10012. What do I wear during a Chamber session?
Please bring a bathing suit or yoga/athletic clothes (as long as there are no exposed buttons, snaps, or zippers that could damage the acrylic surface) to participate in the Ammortal Chamber session.
More skin exposure allows for more LED benefits while you are in the chamber. Most guests complete a session in undergarments/sports bra and athletic shorts.
Do I need to remove all of my jewelry and wearables devices?
Phones or other electric devices may not be used while in the Chamber. Wedding bands and small rings may remain on. All other large jewelry and wearables should be removed to prevent damage to the acrylic surface.
You will be wearing a wearable monitor on your wrist to gather physiological data during the experience.
How long will the study session last?
The onsite study session lasts around 35 minutes, including check-in, set-up, chamber experience, and pre/post questionnaires. Please complete your pre-arrival questionnaire and arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled timeslot to check in for your session.
After the onsite visit, you will be asked to complete a follow-up questionnaire 48 hours after your session.
Can I bring my friends?
You can absolutely spread the word and sign up for the study with friends! If you plan on arriving together, be sure to sign up for adjacent time slots when scheduling your sessions.
