Skills
Your ideal research study
Investigating optimal methods to restore individuals to baseline functioning following extended periods of neurological duress, sleep deprivation, or related stressors. Many military personnel experience a phenomenon known as “brain fog,” which often results from chronic stress and/or sleep deprivation. Researching effective ways to counteract this condition can improve quality of life for service members and ensure they remain mission-ready at a moment’s notice.
What drew you to consciousness
I was drawn to consciousness research because of my passion for the brain. The brain is an extraordinary machine and has always interested me. Consciousness is a very interesting complex to me; what does it mean to be conscious? How do we define it, and how do we determine what is conscious and what is not?
