Your ideal research study
I advocate for safe and accessible healthcare for women, children, and other minority groups, and from this would be curious to investigate how in-group and out-group dynamics may affect one’s empathic concern for others’ healthcare rights. If gaps exist, I’d like to probe further into learning what levers could be used to boost empathic concern for the physical and mental wellbeing of others in an effort to remediate global/socioeconomic health disparities.
What drew you to consciousness
I used to have an existential fear of knowing too much about my body. Because who are we, if not just flesh and blood? Now I believe we’re many things: an evolution of memories, relationships, emotions, intuitions, and beliefs. Where’s the line between body and soul (if there is such a thing)? Reach out if you have a theory :)
