When scratching someone else’s back, are some persons better at predicting the movement of the itch? In the brain, observing others integrates motor circuits with circuits representing one’s own body in space. I’d like to understand the neurophysiology of predictive mirroring and motor predictions.
What drew you to consciousness
I see our conscious lives as a balance between movement and sensation. The greatest heights of human intellectual complexity emerge from this integration of more elemental neural systems. How can this be?
